By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance. Toward that end, AAUW Funds provides more than $4 million each year for graduate fellowships, campus project support, and community action grants.
AAUW collaborates on the national stage with the National Science Foundation and the National Girls Collaborate Project to assure women and girls are included in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education and training.
For more information about AAUW at the national level, go to www.aauw.org.
In California, AAUW runs Tech Trek, a summer camp to foster the interest of middle school girls for science and math. Locally, the Berkeley Branch supports this endeavor by fund raising for scholarships for Berkeley girls to attend.
For more information about AAUW California and Tech Trek, go to www.aauw-ca.org.
The Berkeley Branch collaborates with other AAUW Branches and organizations to put on mission based programs for members and the community.
